About
Built by an engineer who installs the machines.
Contourvio is made by SC Laser Ltd. I’m Sean, and most of my working life is spent on site with print and laser equipment, alongside the people who use it every day.
Why I built Contourvio
Many of the customers I train have little or no experience with complex design software such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW. They don’t need to become designers; they need to turn the logo, photo or JPEG a customer sent them into a job the machine can print and cut.
Contourvio is built for them. It traces the artwork, removes the background, adds the CutContour line, bleed and white ink, and sends a file straight to VersaWorks. The Wizard walks through it step by step, and Advanced Mode is there when you want every setting.
What that means for you
- It’s built around how print-and-cut jobs really reach the machine: CutContour, RDG_White and RDG_Gloss spot colours, and the VersaWorks hot folder.
- Questions about Contourvio, VersaWorks or white ink are answered by someone who works with this equipment.
- One payment for a lifetime licence, from a small UK company. No subscription.
Contourvio is independent software made by SC Laser Ltd (company number 16744095, registered in England and Wales). Roland and VersaWorks are trademarks of Roland DG Corporation, and GCC is a trademark of its owner. Contourvio is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roland DG or GCC.
